Heard great things and it lived to it. The most important aspect being the service. 100/10. Everyone was friendly, attentive, uniformed. Adalberto and Santos took great care of us. They explained the menu perfectly, made great recommendations, and were very knowledgeable about the menu. highly recommend especially if you’re already staying at the W. We will be back 🙂

There are very few places in the world that truly stand the test of time—Mr Chow is one of them. Years ago, when we were living in Miami—before our daughter was even born—this was where we chose to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It was special then. And nearly a decade later, returning with our now 9-year-old daughter, it was nothing short of remarkable to experience that same level of excellence. Two weeks ago, we walked back in—and everything was exactly as we remembered: refined, seamless, and intentional. In a world where standards often slip with time, the consistency here is extraordinary. The Peking Duck remains a masterpiece—an experience, not just a dish. Watching my daughter be introduced to it for the first time, and genuinely enjoy every bite, was a full-circle moment for us. But what truly elevates Mr Chow is the experience beyond the plate. The chef coming out to demonstrate pasta-making tableside added a layer of theater, craftsmanship, and personal connection that you simply don’t find everywhere. It turned dinner into a memory. This is what excellence looks like—decade after decade. Not just great food, but consistency, intentionality, and an unwavering commitm

The restaurant is living off of its old reputation and unfortunately today the rating of 3.7 is rather accurate. The food is still good but the overall experience is subpar with the wait staff trying to upsell and the restaurant continues to reduce portion sizes (even compared to NY location). I would suggest for them to make an effort to reverse the decline which could see them getting the old crowds back.

Great food and exceptional service. All restaurants should strive towards this level of service and hospitality. Can’t go wrong with any of the dishes. We had: Shark fin soup 9/10 Mr Chows noodles 8/10 Salt and pepper pawns 9/10 Fiery beef 9/10 Dungeness crab 9/10 Chocolate cake 9/10 Pistachio cake 7/10

Dinner at Mr. Chow feels special from the moment you walk in. The staff sets the tone immediately—warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. What really stands out is how naturally they do it. There’s no hovering, no forced enthusiasm—just genuine care and a clear pride in what they do. Service moves like clockwork. Drinks are refilled before you even think to ask, plates arrive with perfect timing, and questions about the menu are answered with real confidence. It’s the kind of attention that makes you feel taken care of, but still able to relax and enjoy the evening. Overall, the service at Mr. Chow isn’t just good, it elevates the whole experience. It’s the kind of hospitality that stays with you long after you leave.
